Lau have been described as a formidable union of three of the finest and most innovative exponents of modern traditional music in Scotland today; Kris Drever (guitar and vocal), Martin Green (piano accordion) and Aidan O’Rourke (fiddle).

In the last eighteen months Lau have become one of the most sought-after acts on the current Scottish scene. The summer of 2007 saw them take festivals by storm across Europe and North-American . The Autumn took them to Japan and Cape Breton, it's become a world-wide party.

Four Men and a Dog are more than a band,  they are a rare event. Once in a Blue Moon it's a case of "WHO LET THE DOGS OUT!"  The Dogs are a gathering of stellar traditional Irish musicians who controversially fuse boogie and blues music with the pure drop of the traditional instrumental. It's rare to see them because individually they play busy solo careers. Every 5 years or so the call of the wild produces an album, that in trad circles, excites and frustrates the status quo in equal measure." YOU CAN'T FUSE BLUES, BOOGIE AND TRAD!" The Dogs say "AYE YE CAN!" AND THEY DO!
